Wes is a Photographer and creative, working from a small home studio in Mohkinstsis. In the spirit of reconciliation, I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the Niitsítapi or Siksikáí'tsitapi (the Blackfoot confederacy) consisting of the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani peoples. The Tsuut’na, the Îethka Nakoda Nations comprising the Chiniki, Bearspaw, Wesley, and Goodstoney peoples. The Otipemisiwak Métis Government (Districts 3, 4, 5 and 6), and all the People who make their homes on Treaty 7 land, Southern Alberta, and Turtle Island.

Everyday we become more aware of the atrocities being committed in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Congo, the Philippines, Iran, Yemen, Qatar, and around the world. My hope is it creates more awareness and respect for the indigenous people of Turtle Island, as well as all suffering under modern day colonialism. From Turtle Island to Palestine.
